First Week of K3

Our first week is almost over!  Even in these few days, the kids have made a lot of progress and learned so many things about being in school - sitting on the carpet, walking in a line in the hallway, playground rules, classroom rules, arrival and dismissal routines.  We have also had a lot of fun:  making playdough, playing with the water in the sensory table, making a classroom chicka chicka boom boom book, and playing with new toys!

Looking forward to this school year.  What a great group of kids!

What does my child need for K3?

The only things that you will need to send to school with your child are:

* a backpack that can fit a take home folder (pocket folder) and/or art projects


* change of clothes  - shirt, pants, underwear, socks all labeled with your child's name and in a labeled shoe box or ziplock bag.

Hello!  I can't wait to meet you and talk to you about our K3 program in person!  K3 Orientation will be held on Monday August 30th.  We will meet our new friends, tour the school and learn what K3 is all about.  If you would like to know when our classroom blog is updated with pictures or new posts, please become a follower or subscribe with your email.  This way, you will not miss any important information!  As the year gets underway, other pages will be added for special projects, monthy calendars and the weekly newsletter.  Stay tuned for more info!
